L410 UVP crashed in Kamina, DR Congo on June 21st. The machine, c/n 841217, started its service in USSR and was last operated by Karibu Airways as 9Q-CEU. The overloaded airplane cartwheeled over its nose shortly after take-off, killing one of 25 people on board. This is the second L410 hull loss this year after a Safe Air Company plane used for cargo flights crashed in May. Both incidents happened in DR Congo and official reports identifying the causes as human errors are not available yet.
