Czech Airlines announced a tender for the sale of a 100% share in its Bratislava based subsidiary Slovak Air Services, with the expected date of sale by 31.12.2008. SAS provides technical and commercial handling, not only for scheduled CSA flights at Bratislava, but also other comprehensive services related to passenger and cargo air carriage for third-party carriers operating in Bratislava. The company operates sales outlets (Bratislava, Košice, Piešťany, Poprad, Prešov), which are independent IATA agencies, for the sale of CSA and other airlines travel documents and is one of the two companies holding a long-term licence for the provision of those services in that territory. In 2007, the company had 72 employees and it achieved revenues of approximately SKK 91 million in that year. The tender is organised internally by Czech Airlines.
