The number of Czech Airlines’ passengers grew by 2,4 % last year, to 5,615 million. Another drop due to the present economic situation can be expected this year. Scheduled carriage is the main line of the airline’s business and accounts for more than 70 % of its revenue. On scheduled flights, CSA carried 4,77 million passengers, which is a year-on-year increase of 1,8 %. However 1,6 pp drop in load factor factor (to 64,5 %) was noted.
