Ryanair will close all their Prague routes, said Henrike Schmidt, the sales manager of the company, in a press conference in Prague earlier this week. Schmidt said that the airline could not find agreement with Prague airport management on lowering the handling charges. Ryanair offered Prague opening a base with 6 aircraft back in March, under the condition of lowering the charges. The Birmingham and Hahn routes will be discontinued in June, Dublin and Stockholm (Skavsta) after holidays. The oldes Ryanair route to a Czech Republic airport, Stanstedu - Brno, will not be touched by this change.
