Korean Air to buy another 34% in CSA Czech Airlines, to be sold to Travel Service

Korean Air informed Czech Aeroholding that they decided to exercise the option for a further 34% stake in CSA Czech Airlines. These shares will subsequently be sold to Travel Service, the largest charter, regular routes and private airline in the country. The shareholders of Czech Airlines will be as follows: Korean Air 44%, Travel Service 34%, Czech Aeroholding 19.74% and Ceska pojistovna 2.26%. The transaction will only become effective after approval by the relevant antitrust authorities. Chairman of the Board and President of Czech Airlines Philippe Moreels announced in connection with this change his decision to resign from both positions once the transaction is approved.
