The LOT Polish Airlines' board of managers has taken decision to close down loss making subsidiary Centralwings. The parent company will take over all remaining destinations of Centralwings as well as some of
its Boeing 737 aircraft. Centralwings was the operational brand of Nowy Przewoznik, a company founded in 2004 by LOT to conduct low cost and charter flights. Last year Centralwings ceased all scheduled (low cost) flights and focused on the charter market only, but also failed to generate expected revenue. Centralwings operated scheduled
Prague - Warsaw flights in the 29.04.-28.10.2005 period.
