Prague Airport handled 786 253 passengers in April, 158 621 (16,8 %) less than in the same month last year. The statistics are badly affected by 72 hrs volcanic ash airport closure (16.-19.04.). 3 000 788 passengers in the first 4 months of 2010 is nearly the same number as last year (3 015 165). Movements went down year to year by 17,44 % to 11 396, this mean 46 055 (-6,93 %) in total from January. The most popular destinations were Paris Charles de Gaulle (52 259), Moscow Sheremetyevo (35 922), Frankfurt (29 269), Rome (28 191), London Heathrow (27 757), Madrid (26 204), Barcelona (22 158), Amsterdam (22 081) and Tel Aviv (18475).
