Bmibaby decided to close their Manchester operation base with the end of summer schedule 2011. The British
low-cost carrier consequently stops the Manchester-Prague flights from end October 2011 (flying 4 times a week in the summer). The only carrier remaining on this route, Jet2, expects four flights a week in winter. Based on their focus on airports where they have a strong and growing position, bmibaby are planning to stop their flights from Cardiff as well.
